A cultural icon in the region, the Cincinnati Museum Center is also a formidable economic driver for the local community. Its permanent exhibits, traveling exhibits, and unique programming serve the local community but also attract numerous, out-of-region visitors. These visitors stay in local accommodations, dine at restaurants and shop at local retailers. In addition, the organization employs a substantial workforce whose wages further stimulate the economy. The visitor spending, combined with museum operations and capital spending, all have significant economic impacts on the community. Our analysis included interviews with key community leaders about the importance of Cincinnati Museum Center. We combined those insights in a compelling, visually-engaging, easy-to-understand report.
