Universities are well-known for bringing money and job opportunities into their surrounding communities. Our research team worked with the Southwestern Ohio Council for Higher Education (SOCHE) to study the economic impact SOCHE colleges have on their specific communities. Together, the colleges produced $7.3 billion and employed 72,039 people.
