Alpaugh Family Economics Center Research Associate Dr. Ben Brennan is leading the team that’s tracking grocery prices at dozens of stores across Greater Cincinnati and Northern Kentucky, in order to identify pricing trends that will help inform consumers.
In June, overall prices fell relative to May. This was driven mainly by seasonal changes in produce prices, as peaches, blueberries, tomatoes, and blackberries all saw significant price decreases. This was tempered by increased meat and dairy prices, though.
