The Economics Center analyzed the economic impact of preterm birth in Hamilton County for Cradle Cincinnati. The study closely examined some of the costs associated with preterm births in three major categories. The first of these, initial hospital costs, is widely recognized, while the other two, education and income, are usually overlooked.
